Day’s love scenes are mind-blowing, as usual, but in this book, she adds a layer of suspense which takes the story up a notch. Gideon is humanized as we learn what his motivations are, and Eva continues to be the same refreshing, slightly naïve but straightforward heroine we fell in love with in Bared to You.
